Medial/Lateral Elbow Pain
I registered for the Bowenwork Wellness Class as something new to try and maybe help out with my osteoarthritis. I did not realize that I could experience such relief from my second bout of tendonitis
in my elbow. In an effort to control the pain, I was wearing a compression sleeve most of the day and taking ibuprofen on a regular basis. I was scheduled to start OT in 10 days from the class. I had tendonitis in that same elbow about a year ago and I went to OT twice a week for 4 1/2 months. It was a long process and took over 2 months before I started to experience pain relief. During the Bowenwork Class, Cindy offered to do a little therapy on my elbow at the end of class. At the risk of sounding cliche, the pain relief the very next day from what I learned in class and Cindy's therapy was nothing short of a miracle. I no longer needed the compression sleeve and have not used any pain reliever since! I immediately cancelled my upcoming OT appointment and scheduled with Cindy at her clinic. After just 2 sessions, I am 75-80% better! I was so excited about this therapy, I brought Cindy's information to my most recent doctor's appointment and my physician was thrilled and looking forward to suggesting this therapy to some of her patients. I am just so excited to have found Cindy and Bowenwork! I have shared my experience with many of my friends in hopes they can benefit from Bowenwork!

In 2016, I underwent a whipple surgery to remove cancer from my blocked bile duct. At 54, my posture was ruined and I suffered many digestive "after affects" from this invasive surgery. Fortunately for me, I was acquainted with Cindy and her passion for Bowenwork. She set out to relieve pain, increase my energy level, and work my body to promote healing. I was standing upright in no time and tolerated chemo well. She could sense what I needed and treat me accordingly. Cindy's compassion and listening ear were a much needed diversion and quite helpful.
It has been almost 2 years and my posture has been corrected. My digestive issues are much improved, and I feel transformed. I highly recommend Cindy as a caring professional. Bowenwork procedures do work and I count myself lucky indeed to have had Cindy as an ally in my healthcare plan.

Fibromyalgia/Arthritis "I now have my life back!"
In 2006 I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and also arthritis in my knees. I could hardly walk and the pain would almost make me want to sit down and cry, sometimes I had to be pushed along. I also fell a lot and had to have a cane for a time. My cane has been sitting in the corner for years now. I was in so much pain I thought I had something very seriously wrong with me and I was about to die. I tried massage therapy and the pain would be better for a few days. I went to a demonstration of bowenwork therapy with Cindy and I thought oh my that will never work it's to simple and painless a procedure. At the end of the session Cindy asked if anyone would like to try it out. I gave in and told her about my arthritis and she did a procedure on my knees and to this day (8 years later) I have my arthritis pain under control. I went to Cindy every week for about three months for my fibromyalgia and I was amazed with the results. I now go every 6 weeks for a tune up. I can now walk my dogs for 45 minutes and go away with friends and family and walk with them for the whole day or go on vacation and have a great time doing the things that everyone else is doing. Cindy has changed my life in so many ways, not only with the bowenwork but also with her compassion. I now have my life back.

Concussion "headache and other concussion symptoms went away after first treatment"
My daughter had hit her head while skating. She developed within hours a severe headache, neck pain, nausea, sensitivity to light as well as sound. I was told by another parent about Bowenwork and how Cindy had help their child with his concussion. We schedule our first appointment and Cindy explained all about the treatment. My daughter's headache and other concussion symptoms went away after that first treatment. I am impressed with Bowenwork. I would recommend it to anyone who has suffered a concussion.

Double Knee Replacements "I pedaled full rotations as easily as before surgery"
I had a successful double knee replacement. I had eight days of rehab in the hospital and then three weeks of in home therapy, followed by three hours twice a week outpatient physical therapy for another month. With all my hard work I was not pleased with the range of motion in my right knee. I left PT without the ability to ride a bike or go down a flight of stairs comfortably.
So I continued my quest seeking help from a massage therapist who worked with me a couple of months and a chair yoga class. After a couple of months once a week of yoga the instructor approached me with the idea that my hips were out of alignment. She knew of a Bowenwork therapist who could possibly remedy the situation.
I met with Cindy, the Bowenwork therapist. She was lovely at explaining the different procedures and follow up exercises. In a few weeks I noticed a lot of everyday tasks such as, getting in and out of the car, stairs, and balance were no longer an effort. I was religious about doing my exercises and remembered the day I asked Cindy if I was ready to try the exercise bike, she thought I was. I watched my husband's face in disbelief as I pedaled full rotations as easily as before surgery. It was two years after my surgery and I had taken a lot of different paths along the way. I was so lucky to find out about Bowenwork and continue to make it a part of my health care. In hind sight, I think about the number of physical therapists I worked with that did not notice my hip alignment problem even my surgeon did not have an answer, thank goodness I found Cindy.
